VACATION

If you're going on vacation, the golden rule #1 is to inform everyone who needs to know in advance.

If you're leaving for less than 2 weeks:

A) Please inform your students and cancel all lessons for the given time period in Schoolpartner. Do this prior to your vacation so that those students of yours who are in the 100% Replacement Programme can take full advantage of the Replacement Programme.

B) If you need to cancel a lesson of a public group course at Jipka, please inform the coordinators at vyuka@jipka.cz.

C) If you are having your time off during monthly close-down, close down the month and send the invoices before you leave.

If you're leaving for 2 weeks or more:

A) Please inform both your students and the language school - email vacation@eduagroup.cz at least 2 weeks before you leave.

B) If you need to cancel a lesson of a public group course at Jipka, please inform the coordinators at vyuka@jipka.cz.

C) Cancel all lessons for the given time period in Schoolpartner. Do this prior to your vacation so that those students of yours who are in the 100% Replacement Programme can take full advantage of the Replacement Programme.

D) If you are having your time off during monthly close-down, close down the month and send the invoices before you leave.

With the exception of the summer (July + August), we no longer offer substitution as a way of lesson replacement. Students can schedule a replacement with their own teacher, or alternatively, if part of the 100% Replacement Programme, they can attend Language Catalogue lessons. An exception is the Jipka group courses, where substitutions take place all year round.

If you are working with us on a DPP contract and you want to take paid vacation (if you are entitled to it), you need to report it in the monthly close-down, more information here. Vacation must always be taken in the calendar year and cannot be carried over to the next year. Please refer to your pay slip or the Schoolpartner system for your current entitlement. Vacation process in the summer (July + August)

In the summer (July + August) we are temporarily returning to the system of substitute teachers, with substitutions taking place only online. Check out the chart below for all the information on how to organise courses in the summer period.
